Compared to other roles in the b2b space, sales representatives are rarely asked to be creative because I was told that “It’s A Numbers Game”. It’s a repetitive job: 1) generate more leads 2) outreach and follow-up with them 3) qualify their needs 4) run the demo 5) prepare a proposal 6) send the contract and your new clients with the Account Manager or the Customer Success team.
It’s about getting more leads in the pipeline but it’s also about enhancing the conversion rates.
Personalizing your text helps a lot, I believe that it’s a game-changer (check out my last post). Besides, there are also amazing tools like Lemlist that enable you to be creative to personalize pictures to engage your prospect in an original, fun, and super refreshing way.
A fun idea is when sending a follow-up email, to say the following and you include this picture:
“I imagine that your mailbox is very busy and as you can see below, one of my tasks reminded me to kindly follow-up 😉”
People usually love this approach. What are your thoughts on this?
